MY STORY

How I started...

Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Elaine Rose and I'm a pet photographer based in County Durham.

Since I can remember I have always enjoyed taking photos and capturing moments to treasure. My poor children would say "please mam no more photos" however now that they're grown up they are thankful I took so many. 

A few years ago I took a leap into the world of wildlife photography and I have to say, it was like I had been blind for so long, I hadn't noticed the beauty around me.
 
My two passions in life are photography and animals, so being able to put the two together and provide you with stunning photos which you can treasure for ever feels amazing. 
 
You will find lots of dogs on my website, but from time to time I am also asked to photograph other animals such as cats, horses, hamsters and sometimes even their owners!


As a dog owner myself, (Gizmo, a Pomeranian shown in some of my photos) I am at ease with animals and know what to expect... or should I say what not to expect? I dont expect your dog to come and sit down say cheese and get their portrait taken although my job would be so much easier if they did! Nevertheless, don't worry, I always manage to pull it off even with the most hyperactive of animals. You'll be pleasantly surprised!
